I Accidentally Summoned a Demon Boyfriend

By Jessica Cage

I Accidentally Summoned a Demon Boyfriend is a highly entertaining and amusing read. If you’re into fantasy romance with a touch of humor (like me), then this book is definitely for you.

I discovered this gem through the author’s TikTok, where her content intrigued me enough to check out her work. Since it’s my favorite genre, I had a feeling I’d enjoy it and I wasn’t wrong.

One of the things I loved most about this book is how relatable the main character, Rayna,. She’s a successful woman in her 30s, but when it comes to dating, things don’t go quite as smoothly. Let’s be real many of us can relate to that struggle. Rayna’s bold, sassy, and straightforward personality makes her stand out, and honestly, it’s easy to see why a demon boyfriend ends up being a better match for her than the men in the real world. The guys she’s dated? Absolute trash!

The writing is fast-paced, engaging, and well-crafted. While I enjoyed the beginning the most (it hooked me immediately), the ending was also very satisfying. The middle had a few moments that felt a bit chaotic, but those “unhinged” parts added to the book’s charm and kept things exciting. Jessica Cage does an incredible job building an imaginative world filled with unique characters that kept me turning the pages.

I finished the book in just two days maybe it would have been sooner if work hadn’t gotten in the way! Overall, I Accidentally Summoned a Demon Boyfriend was a relatable, humorous, and much-needed escape from reality.

Rating: 4/5 stars

If you’ve read it, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Or if it’s on your TBR list, let me know.
